Gone swimming

—

Lately the weather has improved, temperature is getting higher and so we -the Boss and I that is- can be found outside more often. He takes me on little trips and let met run free and I can tell you that is great fun, especially when I get to meet other dogs and mates from the neighbourhood.

I did manage to get into trouble the other week when I ran across the street and could not see the Boss from there. Luckily for me someone got hold of my collar and took me back to the field where my Boss awaited me, not amused to say the least. One of his friends, who also happens to be one of my friends told him about a place next to his work address and so we discovered a fenced field along the water where I could not escape or get into trouble.

But go figure, when we got there a whole bunch of foreign Geesers were there with their women and kids swimming and they would not let me in the water near them! Four of them, probably the fathers (it’s hard to tell the difference between them and the mothers) approached me -hissing- but I gave them the stare, I can handle a foreign Goose any time, any place. Being intimidated by my stare they soon realised they wouldn’t stand a chance and took off, and I could have a nice swim.

So this time the Boss let me swim and run around for at least an hour until it was time to head back home for Tea. Didn’t really want to go home though but I was a good boy as you can see in this picture.

Boss said we had more fun than a wet dog stink. Whatever that means.
